Late Registration and Scratch Deadline

Crews who fail to show to their ‘final’, will have taken a spot from othercrews who would have otherwise qualified. Medal distributions may be suspended for the affiliated club until the penalty has been paid.

Our Time Trial, “like-speed” racing experience, will take place first in the morning and the Finals will follow the lunch break. This is a separate event, unrelated to the regular 1x and 2x heat to final events. (You are welcome to enter either event, or both to maximize your racing experience.) The time trial will seed straight finals and your time trial and final times will be combined. This combined time will be given a percentage to the Gold Medal Standard for your age category. Cash Prizes will be awarded to the overall top 3 with the closest percentage points to gold medal standard. Medal prizes will be awarded the top 3 in both gender categories (not boat class).
Relay Events
We will host two relay events this year, the club relay event like last year and an additional composite club relay. Each entry will be composed of one crew in each boat category: 1x, 2x, 4x, 8+. The single and double must be a men’s or women’s entry; both boats cannot be the same gender, must be either/or. The quad and eight boats must be mixed.
1. Club Relay Event (Saturday afternoon)
This is a cash prize event and will be limited to six (6) club entries (first come, first served) and to one entry per club. The cash prize is $750 CAD.
*There is a minimum entry of four club entries for this event.
2. Composite Club Relay Event (Saturday afternoon) FUNDRAISER
All funds from this event will be donated. The boat structure will be the same as listed above; however, each team must comprise a minimum of two clubs and is open to all clubs
regardless of size. Registration will stay open until Saturday July 11 at 11:00am. Beer and/or wine tickets will be awarded to the top crew. The event will be capped at six (6) entries.
